Hythe in Bloom, under the auspices of Hythe Civic Society, has been busy again.
The plant troughs in the High Street have now been planted-up by volunteers and the railing baskets are in place in Prospect Road, so Hythe is looking forward to a colourful summer with shades of blue, purple, silver and white providing a wonderful, fresh colour scheme for all to enjoy.
The usual team of hard-working volunteers is in place to water the tubs during the summer and, once again, the group is delighted to welcome the return of both Brockhill Park Performing Arts College and Hythe Rotary Club as regular waterers! Hythe in Bloom is delighted to continue these productive associations.
Contributions to the project have been received from Hythe Civic Society and Hythe Town Council. Commercial sponsors who have made generous contributions this year are: Lawrence and Co Estate Agents, local folding-table manufacturer Gopak Ltd and Charlier Construction.
